Tonight was my second webinar of “The Untold Story of Seltzer” for the New York Adventure Club. And I am LIKING it.
I still wish I could see everyone’s faces, but I can still feel the connection – through the polls, questions, and chats – and then use that energy and send it back.
I tried a few new things today. First of all, I thought I would use this Cameo I had made by the awesome Jackie Hoffman.
But I didn’t. Next time! However, I did get to add an awesome string of videos- of seltzer getting filled at Gomberg’s Seltzer works, of Walter the Seltzerman delivering, and of Walter’s ~7,000 seltzer siphon collection, and then Eli Miller, who passed away last month, reading from the children’s book inspired by him. Fun! (Oh, and my mother-in-law came!)
And while on the road I always love making egg creams, but it’s special to get to do it in my own kitchen! The first sip I drank in honor of those without the ingredients to do it themselves at home. The second sip was downed in honor of Gem Spa, whose closure was announced DURING the talk. 🙁
